Honoring Zach and his love of golf to help raise money for those fighting addiction
We are happy to announce that the 2nd Annual Zach Lohr Memorial Scramble will take place this year on September 5, 2020. It will again be held at Paradise Lake Country Club and is again taking place Labor Day weekend which is a week later this year than it was last year. The big change this year is the start time which will be 8:00 a.m. We feel there are numerous advantages to an 8:00 a.m. start time over last year’s 1:00 p.m. start time. We won’t be rushed and will have more time after golf to eat, award the golfer prizes, raffle drawings, socializing, etc. It will be difficult to top last year’s scramble but we hope this change will help make the event even more successful and enjoyable.
Please visit this page for the 2020 Announcement Flyer, Sponsorship Opportunities Flyer, and Registration Form. For those of you who golfed, sponsored, donated gifts baskets, made monetary contributions, etc. we’d like to respectfully ask you to consider participating again this year. YOU helped us make last year’s scramble a big success and we’re asking for your help again this year.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with The Zach Lohr Memorial Scramble, if you are a golfer, please consider playing and asking 3 friends to fill out your foursome. As you view the flyers you’ll see there are sponsorship opportunities as well. If you own or have a friend who owns a business, perhaps he or she would be interested in becoming a Gold or Silver or Bronze Sponsor. And, Hole, Tee, and Green sponsorships were very popular last year. We need golfer prizes too!!!!
We need to get the word out as soon as possible to ensure it will be a success in terms of participation and raising money for Hope United (www.hopeunited.life ).
Please help us celebrate Zach’s life. Please help us help Hope United. Thank you all for your consideration.
In celebration of Zach Lohr, an annual Memorial Golf Scramble will take place in his honor. Zach's passion was golf and his love for life was contagious. Let's get together to celebrate Zach's life and his love of the game.
The Mission of Hope United is to bring HOPE to those affected by the drug, alcohol, and suicide epidemics through education and awareness, providing support for families, and helping foster a healthy recovery community. This will be done through the future Tyler's Redemption Place - Ohio's first-ever Relapse Prevention Wellness Center in a campus-type setting that will offer counseling, support, wellness services, and community-focused activities that center on the whole person: mind, body and spirit.
If you would like to contribute, your generous gift will help us help those in need. Together, in honor of Zach, we can make a difference.
